Project Renew, Inc. received the
2004 Community Restoration Award from the
Athens-Clarke County Historical Society for
successful restoration and use of The Hiram House. This
was another award of distinction for PRI since the Hiram House
was placed on
the National Registry of Historic Places in
November 1987. Representing FAME and PRI during
ceremonies at the historic Fire Station No. I on
Prince Avenue were Everett Scotland, J.T. Jones, Dr.
Margaret Wilder, Patricia Harrison and Dr. Robert
Harrison. |
